Isis is one of the most brilliant due to having a wide variety of music labels to there name like, metal, rock, mainstream. I really think that Chris Mereschuk was a great vocalist for that band. he truly spoke what he wanted for a metal band and it showed in the albums they released. truly amazing!

ill just make a top 5 this time and see what people say

-isis
-iron maiden
-bullet for my valentine
-amon amarth
-killswitch engage

Under the Northern Star is one of their best songs ever IMO, even if it isn't as heavy.

I'll be seeing Amon Amarth live in 2 weeks. \m/

A great and varied list there. Maiden, DFD and Maudlin are great bands. Agalloch too.

To be fair, I've only heard Adultery by Dog Fashion Disco, but it's one of my favourite albums.

Solid list. Especially the last three.

Have you listened to Buried At Sea's latest EP Ghosts? It's nuts.
