and Voice, honestly, I agree with some of what you say. However, the way you say it is stupid. Calling grindcore "false" metal doesn't make sense. When does it ever claim to be? P.S. Pantera is one of the worst bands EVER. IMHOHOHOHOHO I haven't made a top 10 in awhile. 1. Lykathea Aflame - been listening to Elvenefris way too much lately 2. Woods Of Ypres 3. Between The Buried And Me - calling these guys "false metal" is ludicrous 4. Defeated Sanity - I'm seeing the most brutal band ever in under 7 months 5. Origin 6. At The Gates 7. Buried Inside - they count. **** you. 8. Opeth - getting more and more into them 9. Martyr - also stoked for them at MDF '08 10. Cryptopsy

Call it enlightenment. A guy pointed out that genres like black metal, death metal, and thrash all had just as deep of roots in other genres of music as metalcore, nu-metal, funk metal. long story short, he basically made me feel real stupid..... I later filled the dark void left in my heart by this grotesque display of hurtnessness with carbon minoxide and pizza, and sort of dropped the whole outlook on true/false metal. Metal is metal, and it either blows your mind away, or just blows, just like the rest of music.
