Black Sabbath (The Godfathers of Metal)
Fates Warning (Prog Gods) Iron Maiden (The Prime Ministers of Power Metal) Manowar (The Kings of Metal) Slayer (Speed Kills) Metallica (The New Order of Metal) Opeth (Thinking Man's Metal) Pantera (Angry SOBs) Anthrax (Metal except for Bring the Noise) Megadeth ( Metals Angry Step Child) Kind of a generic list but these really are my favs and I own multiple CDs by each of them. All Maiden, Fates, Manowar, Metallica. EVAD |

With the exception of Metallica and Pantera (evene though I cannot stand them), your list is a bunch of nu-metal bands that will probably get trampled upon by the locals!

Although I don't really know what you mean by that, every one of those bands are well established musicians that have each been around for at least the last 10 years. The youngest band here is Godsmack, which is 12 years old. |
