Thread is Top 10 Metal Bands. not a pissing contest to try and post a band that no one has ever heard of before, and theres a reason most of those bands stay indie. They suck. There is alot of good bands in this list like Kreator and Death Angel, etc. not denying that. The thread creators list was complete crap.

If you think most bands stay indie because they suck, then well its you who sucks! Apparently you have never heard of the music industry! Have fun living in a world where good bands make it and ****ty ones dont.

yeah its true bands need the backing of major labels to become famous. thats why metallica was multi-platinum with no radio play and no videos until ONE. have fun sucking up to the man. true talent blasts through all the marketing gimmics and gain true loyal fans.

You dont have any really talented friends that can barely make enough to live from gigging. When you do you will realize, talent does not equal respect and a paycheck.

This is not arguable, it is fact. Music is a business whether we like it or not, and guess what...the record companies are the same as your local wallmart, all in it for a quick buck.

Just expressing my opinion, not judging. Please lighten up.

If you want to see who I'd pick, I've posted a couple lists in this thread at different times. Feel free to comment on them if you'd like, I won't be offended. I do have to warn you though, if you're expecting Fall Out Boy you'll be disappointed.

Sorry about that, I have to control myself on these forums. I just happen to like all those bands, and would be on my top ten. Wasn't trying to snap at you.
