In no particular order:
1. Reverend Bizarre: It's a shame these guys disbanded. Very slow and doomy. 2. High on Fire: Incredibly heavy. 3. Melvins: The masters of sludge have got to be metal, not grunge. 4. Black Sabbath: tons of classic doom songs in their early work 5. Katatonia: utterly enjoyable doom-death 6. Monster Magnet: great stoner metal; At least I guess it counts as metal. 7. Judas Priest: Normally I prefer slow sludgy sounds, but Priest is too good to leave off a top ten list. 8. Tad: grungy metal 9. Alice in Chains: more grungy metal 10. Blue Oyster Cult: surely, close enough to metal
