This needs an update from me. I take great pleasure in bashing metal bands every chance I get, but there are a few I really like.
Mastadon Pantera Gojira For My Pain... Regurgitate Iron Maiden Tyr ...that's about it. The only other ones I kind of like are Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Megadeth, and Tool if anyone has any reccomendations, it would be appreciated. |

If you like Agoraphobic Nosebleed, check out Napalm Death and The Locust. Though neither are really metal

I'm not into much metal either, but I like:
Opeth Genghis Tron The Dillinger Escape Plan Maylene and Mastodon's pretty cool too. I know I'll get shtick for Maylene, but screw it. They're metal.

They've always just considered themselves Rock n' Roll.
But they do undoubtably kick serious tush. 1. Blut Aus Nord 2. Electric Wizard 3. Slayer 4. Agalloch 5. Tygers of Pan Tang 6. Cathedral 7. Maudlin of the Well 8. Sleepytime Gorilla Museum 9. Emperor 10. Solefald Throw it out there, I'll regret it in a minute.

List time:
1. Necrophagist (Progressive/Technical Death Metal) 2. Vesania (Symphonic Black/Death Metal) 3. Abysmal Dawn (Death Metal) 4. Nile (Technical Death Metal) 5. Obscura (Technical Death Metal) I'm just going to leave it at 5 for now, the other half changes too much
