There isn't some crusade against metalcore like you make it out to be. As I said before, you were the one that asked the original question. When metalcore gets brought up in certain circles, it is going to be ridiculed. I'm not going to talk about how good the Colts are in front of a bunch of Patriots fans.

It's annoying to hear anybody talk how hard they are just because they listen to a certain type of music.

Definitely. Kvlt neckbeards annoy me just as much as scrawny scene kids. It's just that one type is much more common than the other (at least in my experience on a college campus and living in central Indiana).

Most of the metalcore bands that I listen to happen to be...i guess what some would call non-generic bands haha. My favorite metalcore band is Threat Signal.

Others that I like are:
Mnemic
Miss May I
Converge
Eyes set to Kill
Atreyu
God Forbid
August Burns Red
Killswitch Engage
Structures
and others that I listen to on occasion.

Metalcore seems to be one of those genres where there aren't any just good bands or just bad bands...there's either the REALLY ****ING KILLER bands, the mediocre bands, and the bands that belong in the sewer.
