I kind of feel out of touch with a lot of you guys one here when it comes to metalcore, what I`ve heard I mostly don`t like but there have been some bands that have shown promise. If some of you can recommend 5 or 10 metalcore albums that are essential to the genre, I`ll give them a serious listen and they may change my opinion on metalcore.

2. BTBAM- Any album really
3. As I Lay Dying- An Ocean Between Us
4. Parkway Drive- Deep Blue is wayyyyy better than Horizons
5. All That Remains- The Fall of Ideals, pretty much the consummate "melodic metalcore" record

I fixed that for you. None of the bands you posted (incoming elitist bullshit...) are 'real metalcore'.
