To be fair BMTH have gone some way in moving away from the metalcore tag with the new album (as somebody has already pointed out), theyre much more in the realms of hardcore now... although i still dont like them as im not a huge fan of hardcore.

Suicide Silence, All Shall Perish, Carnival of Horrors, Architects, Burn Down Rome (early stuff anyway), Eternal Lord, The Red Chord etc etc... theres a few

I strongly disagree with both of those, particularly Architects. And i like SS.

Yeah their metalcore, but i wouldn't call them 'generic'. If i heard a song by Architects i'd automatically know it was by them, same with The Red Chord. Whereas i could hear a track by The Argent Dawn and then one by Knights Of The Abyss i wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
