I'm not a huge metalcore fan, but have picked up the distinction between metal bands that try to be emo/hardcore....suck. And hardcore bands that become metallic, like Converge...much more convincing. Poacher Diaries split and Jane Doe, excellent stuff.

Bring Me the Horizon are a pretty perfect example, I'd have to look at their jean sizes but I'm sure they're tight.

I woul say BMTH have broken away from the genric metalcore tag with the new album.
