Depends on the music style...
Obviously Elvis, he basically introduced rock and roll. Led Zeppelin and The Beatles carried that on. Pink Floyd were impactful because of their great lyrics. Black Sabbath introduced a heavier type of rock. Metalllica and Megadeth introduced pure heavy metal music and dominated that industry. Then System of a Down, Disturbed and Slipknot (even though I hate Slipknot) introduced a new trend in Nu Metal. And quite a few other bands were very impactful. |
