Candlemass is cool.
and I said chick doom because the new album The Pale Haunt Departure has them toning down the death growls and going in a more...commercial direction. which I don't like. w3rd to tr00 d00m

No; "The Pale Haunt Departure was aimed to be more atmospheric" says Paul Kehr (vocalist), and I think the band suceeded greatly, as for the commerical direction statement, I'm not sure how you can say that - Novembers Doom goes way out of the mainstream and into its own droney music type.
