Jimmy Page,
I'm not sure, if he's been mentioned, if not, it's a travesty.

Adam Jones. If Adam Jones wasn't in the same band as Maynard James Keenan, he would be the star of the band. Adam can play anything, from super heavy to melodic and not miss a beat.
they're all great musicians, but I would take Danny Carey over Jones, in fact he's tied w/ Maynard

I think mentioning Jimmy Page and innovation in the same sentence is a travesty.

well, since I'm not really a musician, I don't know much about technicalities. I just go more by the feel & flow of the music, which makes Jimmy Page great. Also I'm pretty sure anything Led Zeppelin=innovative.

Regi Wooten. Holy crap. That guy makes Herman Li look like a fucking snail. And he's more musically talented. Without a doubt the most underrated guitarist ever. Hendrix is overrated. Not that he isn't great, but people act like he's just the best there ever was ever will be.

1. Regi Wooten
2. Jimi Hendrix
3. Steve Vai
4. Greg Hetson
5. Jim Hall
6. East Bay Ray
7. Herman Li
8. Robby Krieger
9. Joe Satriani
10. Greg Ginn

well since you've got him at #2 on your all time list behind a guy that no one has ever heard of, I'd say it's understandable
