Now to answer. I'm going to say that Hendrix had more ability, but I have never enjoyed any of the three songs I've heard of him as all of the several songs I've listened of Led Zeppelin.

Musical enjoyment should count, right? Hendrix wins, but I wanna thank Page for bringing up Led Zeppelin. That's love.

I'd have to disagree. Hendrix and Cobain write extremely different types of songs so it's extremely hard to say who's better at song writing. However, if your going to judge so quickly I'd say listen to the song If 6 Was 9 by Jimi. It's ****ing brilliant.


I think they are very equal musicians becides the fact that Jimi Hendrix could play guitar like a ****ing god. So yes Jimi Hendrix is a better guitar player.

well Cobain is considered so good because hes the best rythym guitarist. So its hard to compare him to others normally.

The GREATEST is definately Hendrix.

The BEST is Dimebag.

Just to clear things up, Cobain sucks at guitar, and songwriting, and most things for that matter.
