Daron from SOAD is not the greatest guitarist but he has been able to think of some cool riffs.

Kurt Cobain is a terrible guitarist. Influential yes, but only because he influenced all music to steadily decline afterwords.

You guys are also talking about really popular, generic favorites for best guitarists. I don't even suppose that this could even turn into a Clapton argumant from the looks of the posters.

I would up on the top for Rock guitar(yes, it does include some regular favorites, but I feel they're deserving of thier rank)

I thought dimebag was the ownly one to get killed, and the security guard and the fan just got shot but survived you could be right though. Anyway, steve vai, jeff beck, page, um god i hate these kinds of threads, my list would go on forever.
