I don't know if the bands were required to be good, which wouldn't make sense becuase people tend not to forget them. I'll list whatever:

Harvey Danger
God Lives Under Water
Citizen King
Squirrel Nut Zippers
Possum Dixon

Yeah I was a child of late 90's college radio. It was Brown Universtiy, Damn Ivy Leauge intellectuals.

I don't know but they have some decent songs, off the top of my head "Flagpole Sitta" which was the single was amazing, and "Authentic" which never got much acclaim but did make the Dude, wheres my car soundtrack was less poppy, more rock and 12 times more badass. I mean, he rolled his R's heavy in that song. Check it out.
