In one of their songs he's talking about being a warewolf and heading north to feed. They got their name from that one killer who killed some girl and no one found out who did it. There's a book on it and stuff

Their lyrics are highly repetive and have to do with the undead. I know where they got their name from as well. The Black Dahlia Murder was a murder case in which a woman was sawn in half, had her arms raised over her head and had grass put in her vagina. quite graphic I must say.

BDM is great...cant say that enough. great show. i saw em at ozzfest, you cant really pick out a certain great in the band. like slash, or page, king, or plant, there one band, not five guys.
