Nirvana in my oppion jams but they do have one or 2 songs that sound the same but for the most part i love to jam to Nirvana

Those denying the similarity between nirvana songs are as guilty as Merkaba for not citing what he meant when he brought up similar songs.

Are you saying all nickleback songs sounds the same? Right before you said you don't have any of their CD's? Are you prepaired for this fight? One of those has to be a lie.

And if you're going to bring up that "how you remind me" sounds just like "someday" (which I refute) then you might as well go home. You and everyone else who wanted to lynch Pap Roach because they had the same bass line as green day's nimrod, I think your just more exicted that you're on the inside of a tiring joke than actually presenting information.

They were heavy distortionized (new word!) hard rock bands.
Yes, Nickelback has changed for the worse quite a bit!!!If people are introduced to Nickelback nowadays, they might be disappointed, but "Silver Side Up" and "The State" were some great hard rock albums...
...They surely put on some incredibly energized shows at that time too!!!
Creed was good as well!!!Creed had musicians that could really showcase their talents well live!!!3dd was always cheesy, ya know?I don't think 3dd will ever change being a cheesy band...
...They still have fans and earn alot of cash too!!!

The new Nickelback song has got to be a joke. I mean can they not think up a better topic for a song than having sex in the back of a car? I think it is hilarious that commercial radio shoves this garbage down our throats, in 10 years people will be laughing at it like we are laughing at Journey now.

Journey always sucked. But Their new single is about (I assume I didn't research it) failed dreams. What song is about having sex in the back of a car?

I swear the Foo Fighters have released the same album about 6 times now

Please refrain from casting your skeptical eyes over Nirvana. They have influenced so many and are still the best Punk band to have ever emerged. I disagree with you stating that some of their songs sound the same. Every single one of their songs has a different sound. Sure, there are the instrumentals that sound the same, but the rest of the songs are totally different from each other in my opinion. I know eventually every band gets some stick in these forums, but Nirvana does not deserve it. They are too good to have people jumping on their backs and ripping stuff out of them.

And yes, this is one of those lame 'I just wanted to see if I could do a poll' polls that I was talking about. Please, only make a poll if it is necessary and you have thought it through. If not you just end up looking a bit stupid.

That song pisses me off. It was good the first three times...now I hate it. And I've only got One by One so I get to hear the whole Foo Fighters sound and not have to pay for a double album . At least they don't sound like Nirvana then that would just suck.
