yeah it really does suck. I've seen him on TV a few times playing songs off of it, and it seems as though he still thinks he is in Zep...he hasn't changed at all.

I just got the impression that he is trying to squeeze every last penny out of his singing and he knows he can with the fame of Zeppelin backing him up, the problem is everyone I know that has heard or bought the new album was really bummed and thought it was weak. Of course being a Zep fan you have to check it out, but I was dissapointed to say the least. My favorite solo track of his would have to be Big Log.

Nickleback isn't as bad as you'd like to pretend, I wouldn't buy their new album because I'd probably only like the single, but what they play on the radio isn't that bad. its good songwriting and frankly, alot of posters here have no right to complain. You'd be lucky to write a song like that.

Im sure its "not you" but theres still an imperical craft to a song that is good or bad. Whether someone writes it for them or not is irrelevent to me, its better than "eat you alive" or anything Trapt tried to put on my plate.

I happen to think songs like Breath, and Photograph aren't such an affront to music, of course I rarely listen to stations that play them so I've only heard the later popular songs a handful of times but its not my fault you wanted to hear Laffy taffy so you kept the pop station on.

Why people are concerned with whats bad concerns me. Theres alot of music out there that I think is bad; I don't listen to it, I don't care. Whenever someone asks to bring up "bad bands" im left to wonder why, and I always come to the conclusion that they want to make sure their listening to "whats cool" and have some form of validation.

Just like genre dressing, listening to "cool music" doesn't make you cool. This isn't a PSA or an afterschool special. This is reality, what other people think is irrelevent to who you are. You're not more punk than me because you have a mohawk and I wear a three peice suit, you aren't more intelligent on the grounds of music because I like a nickleback song and you suck the massive shlong of classic rock.

Nice post Big3, I agree for the most part. Nickleback's new song isn't all that bad.

Im not sure what their new song is, because I dont really listen to the radio much, and when I do I listen to the CR station most the time, but I do have the song swallow on my computer and I'll admit that when I first heard it I didn't think it was all that bad. It has decent lyrics, the vocals are what annoy me I guess when it comes to the band. There's sure as hell alot of worse music out there, but I don't like the band much myself, so like you said I just don't listen to them. I think that the bands that suck threads are mostly just arguments waitin to happen. Sure the majority of people on here are gonna say that Korn and Linkin Park suck, but then someone throws in somethin like "The beatles suck", or "Led Zeppelin is so ****ty", and of course you gotta have "bla bla bla is the most overrated band", as if there's really a way to judge whether one band is more overrated than the other. I'm so tired of hearing the word overrated on here anyways that I could throw up. Some people are confusing overrated with a band just being really good and getting the recognition and fan base they deserve, that doesn't make them overrated. And I prefer classic rock's shclong, as compared to modern musics diseased, nasty little schlong
