Ian, we need to add a section on grind at some point.

I would throw Entombed into regular Death metal, rather than melodic...

Careful with the grind, I think that has more in common with punk than metal at times.

But it has influenced countless metal bands, hence it's inclusion. I'll consider moving entombed. I'm actually honored that that's all you had to say! or was it.....

I see Grind as a punk/metal love child.

Nitpickiness is lame, but I can throw in another couple cents.

Instead of fascism as lyric topic for black metal, you could put national socialism. It's more common, they have a name for it... National Socialist Black Metal (NSBM).

In death metal possibly mentioning Possessed, arguably being the first.

And I don't think The Mars Volta are metal.

I totally agree, man!!!It's like some people don't like hair metal or numetal, but if numetal is going to be mentioned, then hair metal is necessary...
...and it actually includes talented musicians that wanna fukk every girl they see!!!

Read what was said earlier.
Hair metal barely has metal elements.
Its hard rock or arena rock.

I know, man!!!I checked out what was said and would agree that it probally is more hardrock. The main difference between hair metal and numetal, though, is that hair metal has talented musicians and numetal simply doesn't!!!

I also gotta say that I agree with the person mentioning Celtic Frost before!!!They were great for sure.

Along with that, I'd like to mention Nile and see what you guys might think their "style" is.As far as I'm concerned, Nile should be called "Egyptian Metal", ya know?
