Wow, I thought for a really long time that this was a lame-ass preppy-punk band. I probably got them mixed-up with something else. Seen as people are calling them indie, alternative, and electro...

I only have the live ALIENATING OUR AUDIENCE album, but I think they are great. I cannot listen to them for a long period of time, but their music is well fúcked up. It's different to a lot of other stuff out there.

They're doing the Projekt Revolution tour.
I saw them about a week ago. They're fantastic.

I hate this band now.

I just saw them at Projekt Revolution and I'm seeing them again Sept. 9th in Grand Rapids, MI. This will be the first band I drive more than an hour to see(Its a 3 hours drive).

Why?

Overly simplified sugar coated 'riffs', cheesy goth techno synth stuff, annoying vocals. its cool if you like them, it does phase me but I just realized that I posted here saying I liked them but now I don't anymore.

i saw them live, and ho' **** are they ever great entertainers! they don't hate their fans, in fact i met steve and i threw something at jimmy he caught it and showed it off xD i was front row center floor : D

seriously, jimmy did a strip tease and threw **** at us.

I find that I have a love/hate relationship with MSI. About half of the material on any given album is genius. The other half either seems weak or weird for the sake of being weird without much else going for it.

I saw Mindless Self Indulgence at a festival a while ago and I was quite frightened. It really did just seem weird for the sake of being weird.

They're pretty fun imo.
The early stuff is spaztic like woah.

"If" is a great album.

I have a lot of respect for Jimmy Urine. He once told a friend of mine, who is fairly overweight, that she was beautiful for it. I don't know, he just made her feel really good.

I've akways wanted to be in a band that could have so much fun with their music like MSI, though.

They seemed to churn out remix after remix after world tour a while back, and now they're taking a break but I'm holding out for a new album.

I used to love MSI. Now... eh. They're alright. Don't listen to them much at all anymore, though a few albums are probably lurking somewhere deep within the catacombs more formally known as my music library. If wasn't a bad album at all.

I could never hate them, though. I met them after a concert. All the band members are really nice people offstage.
