I wouldn't say Iron Maiden fans insult you for listening to other stuff, but a lot of them think that they're the greatest band on the planet. But frankly, I wouldn't blame them for thinking that. When you've got one of the greatest metal singers, and one of the greatest metal bassists and 3 good guitarists, you have a good band. Well, that's why I like Iron Maiden. They're not my favourite band ever though.

Meanwhile, I voted for Queen. Brian May is god... and John Deacon is pretty underrated.

Tool fans are probably worst. You say to a blind Tool fan that Tool sucks, you'll probably walk away with a spanner up your arse.

But I've heard Maiden fans are pretty frezyish, as are Guns N Roses fans.

I`ve never understood whats so great about Tool.

Just sounds the same as every other po faced industro-grungy crap i`ve heard.

I`ve always thought of them as the band metal fans hold up as an example to show they listen to proper music too.
