I don't think of them as particularly influential. Or particularly good for that matter.

I like them in a nostalgia kind of way but not in a "they are good" kind of way because they just aren't very good.

You must admit though, that Travis is a good drummer.

I like them because their songs are fun and catchy. I think they're good in terms of songwriting, not necessarily in terms of talent.
