It's just not one of their best, and especially not one of the best releases of the year, as much as they deserve some credit...

Oh I thought you meant they shouldn't be in that category. Yeah the Grammy's don't make good choices. Thats been the case for a long time.
I'm also pretty sure that one of the Albums (Blueprint 3) was not even released in 2010. So who knows.

Congrats are due for the wins. Maybe not their best material, but clearly their biggest mainstream success and has given them notoriety. Interesting to see Arcade Fire pull album of the year, but then lose out to The Black Keys for best alt album- call it the Colbert bump?
Also- music video for "Howlin' For You"....

The Black Keys are in my naughty book at the moment.
I went to Big Day Out pretty much especially to see them, they were bigger in my head than Tool or Ramstein or even Grinderman; and they bailed pretty much last minute because they were tired. They were replaced by an Ausie guy called Paul Dempsey, and I love Dempsey I really do... but Dempsey ain't no Black Keys that's for sure. |

And now they add U.S. dates to their tour. If I was from Australia I'd be PISSED...
