Rubber Factory's my favorite album of theirs.

So it looks like they have a new CD coming out on the November 27th, it appears to be a collaboration with a bunch of hip hop artists. I'm actually genuinely excited for this, they've proven themselves to be very good blues rock musicians so seeing them tackle the misunderstood genre of rap rock could yield some fascinating results. Here's the track listing for the album: Coochie (featuring Ludacris, Ol' Dirty Bastard) – 4:10 On the Vista (featuring Mos Def) – 2:39 Hard Times (featuring NOE) – 2:38 Dollaz & Sense (featuring RZA, Pharoahe Monch) – 3:47 Why Can’t I Forget Him (featuring Nicole Wray) – 4:16 Stay Off the ****in’ Flowers (featuring Raekwon) – 2:31 Ain't Nothing Like You (Hoochie Coo) (featuring Mos Def, Jim Jones) – 3:23 Hope You’re Happy (featuring Billy Danze of M.O.P., Q-Tip, Nicole Wray) Tellin’ Me Things (featuring RZA) – 2:39 What You Do to Me (featuring Billy Danze, Jim Jones, Nicole Wray) – 5:14 Done Did It (featuring Nicole Wray, NOE) – 3:29 Discuss. |

Hell fuck yeah.
That's really awesome, Pete, thanks for the heads up. I missed a chance to see them live at Voodoo fest, which was a bit of a bummer. But this is certainly something to look forward to. And a definite good move on their part (we hope). Another bluesy rock album could've been boring. |

Oh wow, that sounds interesting. I guess they figured there's only so much you can do with a two piece blues band...glad to see them experimenting further.

Mentioned this in hip-hop, didn't think to post here (probably more exposure in this forum). Yes, leaked, and I've been playing it to death for a week! It's really good. All of the tracks with Nikki Wray are keepers. You can definitely feel each artists influence on the different tracks. I do have a few gripes- too short, and I wish the Keys were brought to the forefront a little more... There's a few tracks that showcase them, but overall not as much as I'd like. I agree, cool to see them experiment crossing genres- and after this it's back to the studio to release another album!
