It's crazy to see all the "genre's". Everybody wants to label that type as different. Not that it's a bad thing... it's just interesting.

Doom/Sludge/Death Metal bands that have discovered classic blues based rock. FIREBIRD is another example...CARCUS plays CREAM.

Looks like Middian's a band to watch, since it comprises of former YOB guys. YOB falls into several genre's Doom/Progressive/Retro/Stoner, so I'm curious to see how things shake out regarding Middian several months from now.
