Good time to check the Metal - Ed thread then

The Black Sabbath sound is representitive of doom and stoner. Though BS themselves are not necesarily so. Iron Maiden is your Power Metal fix. J-Priest are mainly just referred to as Heavy Metal. Metallica, Overkill, Slayer for your Thrash. Rob Zombie for your Industrial Metal. Sepultura has some Death Metal about them, also some Thrash.

I don't know about Nailbomb.

I read the Metal - Ed thread. Wow! Lots to know. I really never cared much for the Death metal stuff. I have a Cannibal Corpse album, it's yucky! I have one Obituary Album. I only like the first song on it. I have numerous Sepultura Albums, but I dig them.

BTW... Nailbomb was Sepultura and Fudge Tunnel together. It's just some really crazy stuff! They only made two albums. Point Blank and Proud To Commit Commercial Suicide. The later was just a live version of Point Blank.

Feels good to be a punk loser!

Here is what I could find about Nailbomb.

What's an example of a "post-metal) band? I don't think in my years here that I've ever heard that term used before.

Basically what Crowquill said. And Isis as stated before is a good example of it. I had only heard of the term abotu a month ago. I thought it pretty much made sense so I decided to use it too.
