i thought that the albums of the year were between the Explosion - Black Tape, Trivium - Ascendancy and SOAD -Memserize/Hypnotize

my best memory of the year was the taste of chaos and soad tour

my fave new bands were aiden, trivium (although i know they arent that new) and bullet 4 my valentine

i hope to pass my exams and to top this year for gigs to rock out at:beer:

A honorable mention to Brian Eno for Another Day On Earth.

Favorite new bands: Oh damn there are a lot.Death From Above 1979, Against Me!, DK, Misfits, Bad Brains, The Briefs, Bloc Party, Muse, RATM and more (I know some of these are old but I started listening to them this year)

Next year: Go to more good concerts, pass school, beat FFVIII and FFIX, and learn something by Robert Johnson on guitar :D

best album - there are far too many....my heads going to explode if i spend any more time on this one.....

best memory - seeing cky, or possibly seeing killswitch and as i lay dying play together.... i dont know....there were a few good concerts this year.

new bands - have we had any new bands emerge this year?

hopes for next year - more metal and metalcore bands. less of the franz ferdinand and the killers style music...

Show: Bury Your Dead w/ Norma Jean and August Burns Red
Next Year: Play some shows with my own damn band.

They remind me of coldplay

Coldplay play the same damn song over and over augustana sound diffrent each song.

Album=Ghost Reveries (Opeth)

That is a very very good album.

I second that
Opeth really gave a great album this year
Under Hypnotize/Mesmerize it was my next choice

Maybe recently Coldplay have been repeating themselves.


Despite that, Parachutes is still a amazing album in my opinion.
