no i didnt miss it, it was just a ****ty argument. you mentioned john lennon getting shot, wow, 1 person. lets see im sure i cant count the amount of rappers that have been shot shot on both hands let alone both hands and feet. maybe thats because rap pisses people off. do you really think most people leave a rap concert with peace of mind like they would have left woodstock or a beatles concert or any great rock concert? if their lives are so hard, maybe they should sing about it like human beings, like people like bob dylan and even led zeppelin did for that matter, while playing actuall instruments. im still waiting for someone to tell me a song besides rap that does not have an instrument playing besides a bunch of stupid synths and drum machines and computer created ****ty sounds. rap is dumbening our society

And what in the hell are you talking about?...30 people playing with Computers?...Public Enemy were 2 rappers, 1 DJ and 2 or 3 producers, Run DMC were just 2 rappers and a DJ...And some rap groups do play their own instruments. The Beastie Boys play their own instruments, THE ROOTS play their own instruments, Andre 3000 has played several instruments for Outkast, Public Enemy and Ice T have used backing bands on some occasions. |
