they were good when they were poor. you obviously have'nt heard their first albums or are really young. they came out in about 1990 and had a unique song called "twist" that sounds nothing like the "nu metal" that that you think, or like you said - don't know. I hope they break up to keep those old records out of shame of the newer ones, if it isnt too late.

Oooooh I loved Twist. Yeah, I used to like them. An' I still like the older days.

But, some of the more recent releases Ive heard.. Big no-no. Their songs just have no substance anymore, nothing to make you want to listen to them. Shame..

the singer doesn't sound the same...or sing the same..I used to like their guitar playing because of how unique it was.I could never play their tabs on my guitar because it had too awkward of notes, but now its just basic and a shame.

Heh, twist was cool. It must be pretty hard to keep that pattern working too.
I wouldn't care if they broke up. I don't like Twisted Transistor or anything new so I'm not that fussed on missing anything thats past their best.

they ended countless post-grunge nirvana rip offs from dominating the air waves and insppired the deftones. They've also inspired countless other **** bands but thats not their fault, I mean, what retard suburban kids look at, take a peice of and do it ad infinitum (complain, scream poorly/tune down guitars) wasn't proposed by the memebrs of Korn.

When they broke they were the freshest crap ont he market, and thats why their first CD is regarded very well.

No one was Korn before Korn was Korn. I think people hate them because they forget this, and because Korn's been improving muscially so they have melody and new instrumentation (synth) and you know what that does:

Old Fans: They sold out

Never Fans: Its ****ty, even though I refuse to listen to it, I just know

New Fans: OMG THE NEW KORN SINGLE IS THE PWNAGE!!!!!!!!!!!

The never fans. I mentioned them, I didn't say they were wrong for not liking them, I was saying they were wrong for their prejudices.

And moses; fair enough but where did that come from.
