I loved Sea Change and Modern Guilt both. I love how his musical style changes to fit his mood, or what it is he wants to say.

I have a very musically discriminating 4 yr old who's favorite song is Loser by Beck. LOL!

Nice, I found the Beck thread. Beck is probably one of the only artists that I listen to that I enjoyed every single one of his albums. I would rank them like.
1. Odelay
2. Sea Change
3. Modern Guilt
4. The Information
5. Guero
6. Midnite Vultures
7. Mutations
8. One Foot In The Grave (independent release)
9. Stereopathetic Soulmanure (independent release)

Also, for anyone who enjoys Beck, which seems to be most of the poeple in this thread, check out this B-Sides Collection he has called Stray Blues. It has about 8 songs on it, and I think you guys will really enjoy it. If any of you know anyway I can put it up for you to download, let me know, then I will for sure hook anyone up.

Beck's one I've admired for a long time but never got 'round to tracking down any of his material. When I do though it's definitely gonna be Odelay first.

Yes, Odelay should be the first album to check out, and if you want to hear him trying a more mellow sound, I guess, you should give Sea Change a listen. Each album brings something new and fresh to the table with Beck, which is why I appreciate his music so much. You almost really can't describe it in one genre.

Huge fan of Beck! Love all of his work. Each album has a theme, and to me that is a sign of an good artist! I loved Modern Guilt, the Information was excellent...but my favorites would be Sea Change and Odelay!!!

I agree that's kind of an underrated one. I think the reason you don't hear much about it is a lot of people felt that it was the first time he was repeating himself musically. It's still good album though.

Well yeh, it is kinda Odelay part 2, but still. It has some of my favorite tracks by him on there, like Girl and Earthquake Weather, and also the video for Hell Yes is awesome, how can you not love little dancing robots? Oh and the video for Sexx Laws is pretty funny too, I love the look on Jack Black's face when they are in the kitchen and all the appliances are humping each other. Classic

I've never seen any of the videos from Guero but that sounds funny. My two favorite tracks on the album are "Missing" and "Que Onda Guero". Actually "Missing" is one of my favorite Beck songs period.
