I loved Sea Change and Modern Guilt both. I love how his musical style changes to fit his mood, or what it is he wants to say.
I have a very musically discriminating 4 yr old who's favorite song is Loser by Beck. LOL! |
Nice, I found the Beck thread. Beck is probably one of the only artists that I listen to that I enjoyed every single one of his albums. I would rank them like.
1. Odelay 2. Sea Change 3. Modern Guilt 4. The Information 5. Guero 6. Midnite Vultures 7. Mutations 8. One Foot In The Grave (independent release) 9. Stereopathetic Soulmanure (independent release) Also, for anyone who enjoys Beck, which seems to be most of the poeple in this thread, check out this B-Sides Collection he has called Stray Blues. It has about 8 songs on it, and I think you guys will really enjoy it. If any of you know anyway I can put it up for you to download, let me know, then I will for sure hook anyone up. |
Beck's one I've admired for a long time but never got 'round to tracking down any of his material. When I do though it's definitely gonna be Odelay first.

Well yeh, it is kinda Odelay part 2, but still. It has some of my favorite tracks by him on there, like Girl and Earthquake Weather, and also the video for Hell Yes is awesome, how can you not love little dancing robots? Oh and the video for Sexx Laws is pretty funny too, I love the look on Jack Black's face when they are in the kitchen and all the appliances are humping each other. Classic
