I try my damndest to ignore the scientology. I've spent time thinking about what made him go that route. Why?!? I can't really get my head around it. Makes me think he's been brainwashed and that some of his songs are him trying to reach out to the fans for help

It's not like his early albums were veiled conversion attempts and it's not like his later albums have taken on a big religious bend since his personal beliefs have become public knowledge.
