I really like Beck. I'm glad Modern Guilt was good, and that he hasn't lost his touch yet.

Beck is one of my favorite artists. I picked up Guero based on "Girl" and from what I read about the album back sometime after the single was released. It's far from my favorite of his, but I it's really solid. Odelay, Mutations, and Modern Guilt are probably my favorites.

haha, yes! I know for sure he used the puppets foe the music video for Nausea, which was on The Information. I would post the video but it won't let me.
Here is the video.

It is cool because all the puppets look like the members of Beck. haha, it really is neat.

I've liked Beck for a long time... and he's never swayed in quality. Excellent artist. Odelay! and Guero will remain among my favorite albums of all time.

"Volcano" is definitely my favorite track on Modern Guilt. I was pleasantly surprised by the album as a whole, after not being that impressed with The Information (there are good tracks but I think overall it was too long, which kept it from getting a lot of repeat listens).

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

For me Soul, Profanity Prayers and Walls have prevailed as my favorite tracks.

I don't know how many of you visit Beck's website but lately him Nigel Godrich and a group other musicians have been covering the entire Velvet Underground & Nico album and it's delightfully good.

Record Club

We've been working on changes to the website for the last few months. We'll be adding new sections as they're ready. The first one to be added is called Record Club, an informal meeting of various people to record an album in a day. An album will be chosen to be reinterpreted and used as a framework. Nothing rehearsed or arranged ahead of time. A track will be uploaded once a week on beck.com as well as through the web sites of those involved with the project.
It's worth checking out.
