I concede that damn yankees were pretty bad. But at least their name didn't completly follow a fad at the time. I mean how many location bands were any good.

Boston. Fin.

Europe, America, Kansas, ad infitatum. Thye all had like one song people know.

I like boston and i think they were pretty good, at least with their first album, which is very underrated IMO...Kansas started out as a really good progressive rock band before they sold out and went arena rock...Oh and yeah Europe were horrible.

Thinking of Audioslave coming from Rage Against The Machine, well Audioslave sucks. but if R.A.T.M was still about and so was audioslave well i would like audioslave as their own band. One thing that really bugs me tho is Tom Morrello is one of the best guitarists around today and he is just not being pushed anymore in Audioslave, Zack Zack, Zack why did you have to leave. Your music was F******* Sic, now Tom's talent is being wasted on a job half the worlds rock/metal band guitarists could be playing.

I do like Audioslave, no way are they anywhere as good as RATM, but i dont think Morellos talent is being wasted, Audioslave has allowed Morello to do stuff he probably wouldn't have got away with in Rage, listen to the solo in like a stone, its so simple but beautiful, Morello has a special gift of doing things with the guitar that others cant even imagine, i think some underrate him, at least those who judge everything on skill and think technical skill is the key to quality musicianship, which is not always true...Asia had tons of technical skill you know, didn't help much.

Yeah zack left, creative differences i guess...but every member of Audioslave except Chris Cornell was in RATM...same drummer, same bassist and same guitarist...They are basicly RATM with a new frontman, a new name and a different sound.

We Better kick start a search for Zack, to see if there's a band out there with an unknown frontman where everyone has know idea who this man is and it turns out to be the old RATM front man Zack! HIP HIP HOORAY
