His vocals irritate me. Just slightly. But enough to make me want to turn it off if I had to listen to more than one album at a time... RATM were hard to beat though, and I have to admit they still made an impact with the shadow of RATM behind 'em.

i kind of have soft spot for cornell, because soundgarden is what got me into rock music. My friend was like hey, have you ever heard of the band soundgarden, their amazing. He had me listen to outshined and pretty noose i was like whoa, that is pretty sweet. Then of course i went on to discover many more great bands after that. I love cornells voice but that is just my preference. He is one of my top 5 vocalists no problem.

what happened to zach de la rocha? Chris cornell is pretty good at his style of singing. The EX ragers dont sound as unique as they did with zach.

I always liked soundgarden, and I was a HUGE RATM fan back in the day. Audioslave they are good, much better than most mainstream 'rock' today, however they don't quite feel like one band as opposed to some famous musicians getting together to make a ****load of money. Some of the lyrics are lame (be yourself, #1 Zero) however the sound with morrellos guitar parts are enough to save them.

I piss my Geog. teacher off everyday when I tell her that Tom Morello's uncle was Mandella the first president of South Africa
