No such thing as best drummer. Only good and bad..hehe Comparing different players is so subjective and can be over-analyzed 'til you drop dead so it is pointless.

On this list I couldn't possibly choose between John Bonham and Danny Carey. For their place, they are both masters. Technically speaking in some ways Danny is better. But Bonham grooved a lot harder. My true favorite drummers are more obscure jazz dudes like Jack DeJohnette, Brian Blade and Ted Poor.

i think the fastest drummer is probably Hell Hammer
the most technical would have to be Nick Barker
and i think the tastiest drummer is Owe Lingvall

i guess if i had to choose i would say Nick Barker
