On this list I couldn't possibly choose between John Bonham and Danny Carey. For their place, they are both masters. Technically speaking in some ways Danny is better. But Bonham grooved a lot harder. My true favorite drummers are more obscure jazz dudes like Jack DeJohnette, Brian Blade and Ted Poor.
