Yeah, I wouldn't add him to this poll before adding a lot of more worthy drummers.

Like Bill Bruford, Carl Palmer, Bill Ward, Terry Bozzio, Steve Gadd, Alan White, Stewart Copeland, Jim Chamberlin, Roger Taylor, Mitch Mitchell, Ringo Starr, Phil Collins, a lot of others.

Grohl is a good drummer, but he's not an Olympian among drummers, or a Titan, or even a Demigod. He's more like an Argonaut.

Yeah, prog does have the best drummers in rock, that goes without saying.

Fun fact. Before joining The Police, Stewart Copeland was the drummer for a (rather horrible) prog group called Curved Air.

Which was fronted by this really f*cking hot hippie chick.
