As much as people could deride this comment and do so if you will, but Jimmy Chamberlin has contributed much to drumming in alternative cicles, and boy do I really love his splashy, variable, often really dazzling style... so this may be more of a personal taste sort of opinion, but I think he can mix it with some of the better drummers of by gone eras in rock...

There are always so many "extra" suggestions when these polls emerge... I am just to blame as much as the next person, I must say, but you can't always please every music fan with a little Music banter polling...

or
Joey Baron

I can't really choose. Both are amazing in their own ways. Zach for his crazy, noisy and free style, and Joey for being overall amazing and versitile.
