Best drummer by car is Tim Yeung from Divine Heresy...he`s played with various other death metal bands as well.

By a long shot not the BEST so to speak but he gives it a good bash and I really enjoy his work mainly with pantera

totally. woulda picked mike if he was up there.

and for the record i used to think lars was an amazing drummer because i only listened to the guitar playing. when i go back i realize he's mediocre compared to many.

Yeah, anywhere you go on the internet, you'll find some 12-15 year old kid talking about how good Metallica and Slipknot are, or how skilled they are musically.

I can't remember the last time I heard a Metallica song and actually heard the drummer. Maybe I don't listen to Metallica enough.

He's just as good as any other thrash metal drummer, I can't even think of any impressive fills I've heard in any of there stuff. And fills are what it's all about
