Danny carey is one of my faves, and i love dave grohls work with QOTSA and Probot, but my favorite overall drummer is Brann Dailor from Atlantas very own Mastodon. Hes absolutely amazing.

BTW, Lars is the absolute worst drummer in metal history. he sucks. Hes what you play when your beginning and dont know whats going on. Metallica is for beginning drummers what nirvana is for beginning guitar players.
