i reckon that there are a lot other great drummers than up there like travis smith and barker are both great drummers and of course tommy lee is pretty good and the pearl jam drummer
the guy from dragonforce kicks ass on the drums and i agree that alex van halen is a great drummer but there are too many classic drummers to mention lol

I liked the drums on Dragonforce but he kinda stuck with the same beat through out the whole album (sonic firestorm) it seemed.

John Bonham gets my vote 'cause I'll always have a soft spot for Zeppelin and they were all exceptional musicians, but my favorite has to be Tomas Haake of Meshuggah. Lots of bands try math metal but nobody really gets it right, and even though the time signatures aren't as crazy as they used to be, Tomas has turned unusual grooves into usual grooves and that makes him a drummer with character.

As well as, Carter Beauford, Tomas Haake, Steeve Gadd, Billy Ward, Dave King, Billy Martin, Bill Bruford, etc, etc.
