ginger baker.. He is very - something- .I dont know any of those people.. max from conan. I always thought joey jordison had amazing energy. I think that any vote is biased to the persons liking. music is more opinionated then fact, so a choosing of the best is improbable, but asking who is the favorite is more likely.
Ill vote for Max from conan o brien...It is nice to watch conan make fun of him.

a couple that probably don't cross many radar screens here are carl palmer of emerson, lake, and palmer. and richard hayward of little feat. hayward is incredible. palmer played in a very heavy, british power trio with a jazz drummer's style. everything was from the shoulders down. no arm flailing, nothing in the kit above head level (including cymbals). very impressive, extremely underrated.

s
i was so close to including palmer in the poll but i wanted to keep it down to just 5, and i knew he would not get the amount of votes he deserves. he is very underrated however

Im sure those 14 year olds all had a set like his to with the double bass and the timpanis and all. Give me a break
Drumsets dosent make the drummer.

Hell, there are drummers with one set drums and two kick paddles, you can barely tell the difference.

my point is how the hell can they play the song without the drums required to play it. Its not a song you really play to the t anyways, sometimes live he would play it for 15 minutes, sometimes in excess of an hour, hell plant, page and jonesy would sometimes leave the stage and go to the nearest bar for a few drinks as he was soloing, he went on for so long. If there really is a kid of 14 years of age playing moby **** like bonham is, he will be the next bonham.

you really dont like letting others have opinions do you?

boo boo was right, some drummers are talented enough to take the smallest set and make the same amount of noise as the guys with the big sets. the drumset doesnt make the drummer.

my point is in the song moby ****, bonham plays the timpanis, so if you dont have timpanis as part of your set, how the hell can you play the song? is this too hard to grasp?

you can still play the song.....just substitute a different drum for the timpanis.

is that hard to grasp.......?
