its not that you dont have the energy, you just dont know what to say because you know that what i say is right. I wish i did include him on there in a way, so you could see how you would be the only one who voted for him. Boo boo, what are you the drummer technicality judge? Who are you to say who is better technically? Bonzo would be rolling in his grave if he could read your ignorant post

I have seen 14 year olds play Moby Dick with ease, Bonham isnt as technical as Zepheads like you make him out to be. |

King Crimsons Drummer was pretty good, unique time signatures (don't know his name)
I feel Bonzo is slightly under-represented in this thread however. Sheer, power and passion. In Achilles he sounds like he's hitting the drums with tree trunks. |

not to mention that he would play with bear hands as well. Obviously the studio version of the song is not near as lengthy or technical for obvious reasons, as is any zep song compared to live

of the drummers listed, moon would get my vote. got to see he, bonham, and baker live. baker holds nothing comparatively. he wasn't/isn't that good. power wins out with this instrument.
a couple that probably don't cross many radar screens here are carl palmer of emerson, lake, and palmer. and richard hayward of little feat. hayward is incredible. palmer played in a very heavy, british power trio with a jazz drummer's style. everything was from the shoulders down. no arm flailing, nothing in the kit above head level (including cymbals). very impressive, extremely underrated. s |
