Well, Marco Minnemann is beyond amazing. And what about Terry Bozzio? Highly talented drummers. Took part in sublime albums: "Sex & Religion", "Culture Clash".

Buddy Rich is hands down my absolute favorite. The man who continued to solo even when he was having what was later found to be a heart attack:

Default Al Bouchard

Al Bouchard of Blue Öyster Cult is underrated IMO. He was a good songwriter in addition to being a creative drummer.
