Was Grohl really THAT good of a drummer? I mean, he's good but I've never seen him good enough to get the nod every time the discussion comes to drumming.

I never understand how Neil Peart gets so high in polls, his drumming is way too obtrusive.

Jim Gordon is better by miles in my opinion.

Depends what genre of music you like. I've been listening to Nirvana for a long time, and the foo fighters after that. Of course I'm going to be a little biased to pick him because he's rocked every band he's played in.

imo, Foo Fighters are an abysmal band. I loathe them.

Nah. When I think of good drummers, I don't think of Grohl.
I'm sorry, but Grohl doesn't do anything on the drums that anyone familiar with rhythm would be enthralled by.
