They're pretty good. I like their songs Black Days and Black Hole Sun a lot.

I'm not too big on the side project Chris has going with the guys of RATM

Although nothing can turn me off of Chris's voice. Or his theatrics on a stage, so I'll deal with the whole AudioSlave bit

Superunknown is a horrible album.

gottaSCREM 12-31-2006 07:55 AM

Superunknown isn't a bad album, It was just hard to understand what the song was meant to mean or for whom. Their best album to me is there Badmotorfinger despite ppl saying all the songs sound alike, lyrically amazing.

The best band to emerge from the 90's.

despite the fact their first release was in 87?

gottaSCREM 01-20-2007 10:35 AM

Well their first release was Ultramega OK in 1988 and their second release was Louder Than Love in 1989 even their complition was released in 1989 as well. Only the big albums came after 1990, well two Badmotorfinger, and Superunknown. Down On The Upside was sub par.

No it wasn`t , they made 2 mini albums the year before. I thought you were the grunge expert.

swim 01-20-2007 02:54 PM

If big albums means regressive spoon fed grovel then I'd have to agree. But the only thing's worth even speaking about came out in the 80's. With sometimes the exception of Badmotofinger which is a pretty average album.

As urban said Screaming Life and Fopp came out 87.

Why do people still talk about Soundgarden??

I don't hear people still talking about Mountain (remember Mississippi Queen?)

Soundgarden is just as forgettable

No it wasn't it was released in the end of 1989, and if your so smart which albums were released in that year? If you say the albums I know your going to say you need grunge knowledge that only I can give.:hphones:
