I think that post-grunge could really be applied to anything that sounded grungy and had a distinctive grunge influence, which is why I think of groups like Foo Fighters as the leading light in this movement in a very life affirming way. |

They were in the second wave, though. Instead of being a highly original and influential group, they were spawned from the big grunge bands, they weren't part of creating the sound or image.

Hopped on the bandwagon!!! I can see why that could be aimed at STP but they had all the talent to carve out their own niche though and a vocalist to match the brilliance of Cornell, Vedder and Staley. Then there is hopping on the bandwagon like Bush did..............but without any talent of course.
