I'll have to go with Accept. I hear that Kreator is German, but I haven't heard them, yet. Scorpions would have to be 2nd.

It's a toss up between Rammstein and Livingston. Two completely different genres admittedly, but I think Rammstein edges it for me.

Both of the bands in the original post are good, although KMFDM certainly are far better than both in my opinion, but when it comes to my favorite, especially when it comes to music from The 80's and after, my answer is Einstürzende Neubauten.

Tangerine Dream are great, and so are Kraftwerk, but Neubauten had the most effect on my Music listening through the years.

Okay, being that my favorite genre is metal, I'm going to have to go with Helloween. I like all their albums, but their time with Michael Kiske as their lead vocalist is my favorite. They're an awesome band... I just wish they had more fans here in the states. I usually get blank stares when I talk about them!
