Come on man, it's a beautiful song. Put away your snark for 5 minutes just for me. She's got a great voice and the production is perfect. Plus it really is really hard to comp over.

Or, ignorance is bliss. Have it your way.

Linda is cooking Portuguese linguica soup downstairs and our house smells remarkable right now.

I've heard the song several times before, I grew up on 2000s radio rock. She has range and sure it's nicely produced like any pop record, but the music is just overwhelmingly plain. Check out Chelsea Wolfe's Abyss to hear everything that Evanescence wishes they could be.

Cool stuff. Definately downloading the album. But it has absolutely nothing to do with Evanescense. Not sure why you chose to try and link the two.

Can't a person just like both without having to say one ****s over the other?

Frowny, in my many of years of discussing music on forums you are hands down the most pompous prick I've ever met.

(Frowny's pretensious comeback incomming. Seriously, why do you have to always be so condescensing?)

MUSIC BANTER. Toe forum that hires complete *******s as moderators.

Pathetic.

Seriously? That's very surprising to me because Abyss sounds like Evanescence with edge to me. Not sure why you view it as an attack of some sort.

Yes. People can also only like one and think the other sucks. They can also choose to like neither, too.

When did we stop being a music forum and become one obsessed with feet? Did I miss a meeting?

Edit: not that anyone cares, but "My immortal" is a beautiful song, and "Bring me to life" is great too. Other than that, I was not overly impressed with that band. Never quite got it.

This is basically where Evanescence stole their sound from tho.
