Apologies for bumping a long time buried thread but Mr Bungle are nuts!
I thought Patton kicked arse on his other projects but I hadn't bothered to check out Bungle until now. They're insane, it's like a rainbow of music. So many different styles. 9 and a half thumbs up.

You have that many thumbs? Damn man. Anyways I do like to listen to Mr. Bungle. It is like listening to <insert any genre here> and not having to change songs to hear <insert genre different from last genre>.

Exactly. Thats what I was thinking listening to their songs, I'm thinking I'm going to have to go do some hunting down of their cd's.

I have done it, I think they are the most versatile band ever... serious.

I just got Disco Volante and it is nothing short of incredible- I have never heard a band leap from free jazz to death metal in a twenty second timeframe only to continue playing completely unheard of musical styles.
Desert Search for Techno Allah? A disturbing mix of eastern sounding techno with noise experimentation thrown on top of a solid rock n' roll drumbeat... Christ. |

They're amazing. S/T is my favorite but they've never released a bad album.

It'd be cool but Idk how they would pull it off without Patton (RIP).
